Here is my diald.conf:
debug 0x0039
mode ppp
connect "chat -f /etc/ppp/micronchat"
device /dev/ttyS1
speed 57600
modem
lock
crtscts
pppd-options name nietzsch
dynamic
local 192.168.0.1
remote 198.168.0.2
defaultroute
accounting-log /var/log/diald.log
redial-timeout 10
fifo /etc/diald/diald.ctl
include /etc/diald/filter.rules
My actual subnet is 192.168.200 (and I have tried 192.168.200.199 which also
does not work). The documentation for diald indicates that if "dynamic" is
used then the actual specified values of local and remote do not matter.
