Hi,

I had a minor problem configuring my Modem (I wanted to mute the speaker
with 'M0')

I could not get this to work at any point in the 'standard' Modem init line,
it was ignored.

As a work-around, I duplicated the few lines in the connect script that
actually send the modem_init string (and the modem_init definition).

I re-named the first modem_init to modem_reset (and changed the appropriate
text in the first block ie. the $modem_init and the message text line)

The MODEM_RESET text is now just the "atz" reset command, with all the
remaining commands in the MODEM_INIT text ("atm0c1 etc.)

This works fine, the Modem now resets and takes all the commands correctly.

This hopefully may fix other problems??
