When the connection has closed, and I ask the system to bring it back up again, diald doesn't seem to see the new connections go out. It is like the diald is unable to listen to the sl0 interface again after the first close of the connection to the internet.... Below is the logs. The first group is on the connection closing. diald[189]: Closed fwdfd diald[189]: Changed snoop device to sl0 diald[189]: bind snoopfd: Bad file descriptor This is when I have done something like ping www.blah.com kernel: sl0: xmit call when iface is down I am running kernel 2.0.36 with debian unstable.... The version of Diald is 0.99.1-0.2 - which is the latest deb package. q). Do I have to upgrade to 2.2.x first. Thanks...
