1) My point is certainly not to criticise Mike. Once you get the right
source diald is excellent.
But surely someone was be able to change the text entry on the ftp site
from "diald doesn't live here any more "to "diald has moved to
diald.sourceforge.net".

Not because you've asked but because you knew enough to post here but not
to
check the archives. People sometimes get testy when they feel like they
are
answering the same question over and over again.
Now before the obvious question of where are the archives come up there's a

Mike Jagdis maintains both sites in his spare time. You are supposing he
has both time and file access to change the diald.unix.ch pages. Since
he's
had the time and motivation to start over at sourceforge.net I somehow
suspect the later part might be the problem.
