I have a working diald and ppp set up on my computer. Recently I have up
graded to Red Hat 6.1 and used the same config files for ppp and diald. I
have had no problems with ppp, it works fine. However, I have run into
problems with diald. I get the following error messages:
chat[1012]: Failed
diald[515]: Connect script failed.
diald[515]: Delaying 30 seconds before clear to dial.
Any ideads why the connect script fails for diald but works ok for ppp
(ppp-on)?
I have the following in my diald.conf file:
mode ppp
connect /etc/ppp/connect.script
device /dev/ttyS1
speed 115200
modem
lock
crtscts
local 192.168.0.1
remote 192.168.0.5
dynamic
defaultroute
include /usr/lib/diald/standard.filter
