I'm feeling a littel embarrased. For well over a year I've had a smug
grin on my face as I read everyone elses problems getting diald to work on
a SOHO network. I had it working with little to no problem but now I'm
suffering. Suddenly I can't get anything back to Win95 machine on the
LAN. It causes the link to come up but the requested packets never get
back. Ping works, network neighborhood works, but I can't get anything
back to a browser.
It is probably something I did while fiddling with making samba a
PDC and using DOMAIN logins from the Win9x system (My personal LAN at
home).
I'm going to do some more experimenting this week but was thinking
someone on the list had already experienced and (hopefully) fixed it.
Oh yeah! Redhat Linux 5.2, diald 0.16.5a, etc.
