I have had diald v0.99.x working with RH6.1 for quite some time. However
after upgrade the pppd refuses to stay connected and complains about
"peer is not authorized to connect to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx". Running "ifup
ppp0" yields successful connection to the same ISP. I captured command
line parameters to pppd in both cases and discovered that there are much
more options passed to pppd by RH6.2 ppp-watch program then diald does.
The interim solution was to revert back to RH6.1 version of pppd daemon.
Does anyone know what will require for diald to support new pppd?
