I've recently installed diald over PSTN on RH 6.1 (but with ppp-2.3.11-4)
distro. With hindsight, I would say that the problems I had were caused
through using RH dial-up setup menus. This makes the set-up more confusing
by introducing a lot more files that have no relevance to the diald way of
working. All you have to do is follow the diald set-up and it works fine.
The only problem I've yet to crack with it is the BIND/DNS setup and I'm
pretty sure that's not an RH problem!
