Diald & ADSL via Ethernet

Hi,

Has anyone in this mailing list successfully used Diald to control the link
via an ADSL modem (using PPPoE)? I have tried to use an pppoe client
software (which has scripts for bringing the link up and down). The scripts
work fine by themselves but would not work smoothly with Diald.

Any comment is more than welcome.
