I have a problem which i wonder if diald can solve.
I have many (let's say 100) hosts with static ip-addresses (of my own choice set by my
ppp daemon) that I want dial-up access to. Each host has its own telephone number.
I also have a limited number of outgoing lines (lets say 4).
Question: Is it possible to start one diald process per host I want to reach? Each
process could have its own filter/config file with a corresponding connect script.
How do I handle the fact that any availible of the four outgoing devices could be
used? As I recall it you specify which tty to use in the config file.
Any other solution possible?
