Hello, every one
My configuration:
RH6.1 free version
diald-0.99.4 source compiled
My problem:
This question is still pending my diald seems working well so far.
However every start will left following messages in my /var/log/messages
May 17 10:39:03 localhost modprobe: can't locate module tap7
May 17 10:39:03 localhost modprobe: can't locate module tap8
May 17 10:39:04 localhost modprobe: can't locate module tap9
May 17 10:39:04 localhost modprobe: can't locate module tap10
May 17 10:39:04 localhost modprobe: can't locate module tap11
May 17 10:39:04 localhost modprobe: can't locate module tap12

May 17 10:39:05 localhost diald[1190]: start sl0: SIOCSIFMETRIC:
Operation not supported
My question:
Do I miss something in the Kernel/Module? Do i have to compile my own
Kernel to get rid of the ugly sign?
What exactly is tap0 to tap15? what is the trigger for above message?
My Thanks:
I will send my thanks on a postcard to anyone who can give me a clue.
