i've got a couple of SME's connected using the ELSA PCI cards. no probs,
and to get them on-line quickly i used the HiSax "serial" emulation so
that the diald setup works with both ISDN cards and serial modems (for
backup).

ELSA are very nice about providing Linux support to developers, the ISDN
FAQ/HOWTOs recommend them, i have have no probs with their cards, and
they have a section on Linux installs and support _in the printed
manual_ (!) and on the included CD.

in short, get ELSA cards! ;)
