Hi there,

If you are running a named it's easy to find out which name it's trying
to resolve with the external call.

kill -SIGWINCH <pid_of_named>

ndc 
>trace
^D

this will log all your name requests with succes and/or fail in

/var/named/named.run   (consult man page for exact place)

If you are done

ndc
>restart
^D

This will end the log.
