I checked this out and there are, in my eyes, three solutions:
1. Fanless power supply: http://www.tkpower.com It is not listed (eg 150W),
but they do offer them.
2. Modify fan to run at 7V instead of 12V: http://www.fanbus.com
3. Remove fan completely from power supply and run it like that. When it
burns out, replace it with a new one. (Currently you can get a 145W power
supply in Germany for DM7,95+Dm7Shipping at http://www.pollin.de ; I guess I
will get me some ;) )
