Inspired by the url, recently posted by Marcus, ( http://www.scyld.com/expert/wake-on-lan.html ) I wrote a small tool today which seems to work fine for me. It's indended to be starded every minute by crond and checks a given timers.conf. When a timer is going to be active an arbitary command (in my case ether-wake) is executed some minutes before to power on my vdr box. vdrwakecheck.tar.gz can be found at http://home.pages.at/linux/dvb.html Martin ========== mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ========== =RSA-PGP-Key ID:0x81783FE7 DH-PGP-Key ID:0x6B66589A= ==================================================== 90% of all statistics are made up -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe linux-dvb" as subject.
