'setup.conf' will be written automatically when VDR is stopped.
The real problem is that there is neither /dev/ost/qpskfe0 (a DVB-S device)
nor /dev/ost/qamfe0 (a DVB-C device).
Are you sure you have properly installed the DVB card?
Aren't there any error messages in the log file when you load the driver?
Are you running the correct driver version?
BTW: maybe it would be best if you fetched the latest version of both the
driver and VDR from http://www.cadsoft.de/people/kls/vdr/download.htm.
