Hi everyone,
Now that the new driver not support CAM properly. The older drivers like version
0.83 or older support CAMs perfectly. But the new version of the DVB-s card, version
2.1, has the demodulator chip STV0299 that is not supported by the older versions of
driver,maybe tuner chip.
My opinion is to write an "older" version driver for the tuner (STV0299 and etc.)
so that the total driver works on CAMs better than new version driver. I think it is
not difficult to do so.The problem is that if the difference of the two version cards
is only on the tuner.
I only want to use DVB-s card and VDR to watch and record program.Don't care
very much which version of the driver and VDR to be used.
