My Nova DVB-T card seems to work now (all the 9 channels available, tuning only takes a few seconds.) However, the picture on my monitor is not that great.
The most visible annoyance is *steps*, sort of, in colors. Say something goes from light to dark - what I see is 3 or 4 zones, not a steady, contionuous progression. I also see this when watching DVD's, so it's not the TV card's fault. But whose fault is it? Is it something to do with MPEG2? Or the decoder? I use xine, because it works, and mplayer doesn't.
