This is on an AMD K6-III with OHCI USB.
Am I doing this correctly at all? This is what I'm not so sure about.
have you recognized the dvbnet utility in DVB/apps/dvbnet? The net_start.sh script should perform all the steps you need for a running network interface.
Anyway, the driver should not crash --
