Hi guys. I can't seem to find out how to actually USE my card.
after a make insmod in the drivers dir (Current CVS) dmesg shows Linux video capture interface: v1.00 DVB: registering new adapter (TT-Budget/WinTV-NOVA-T PCI). saa7146_core.o: adjusting pci latency to 64 DVB: registering frontend 0:0 (Grundig 29504-401)... DVB: register adapter0/frontend0 @ minor: 3 (0x03) DVB: register adapter0/demux0 @ minor: 4 (0x04) DVB: register adapter0/dvr0 @ minor: 5 (0x05) DVB: register adapter0/net0 @ minor: 7 (0x07) This looks good to me. copying the new crystal-palace channels.conf to my homedir and runninga ./tzap Kerrang gives me this: using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0' tuning to 537833333 Hz status 01 | signal 3232 | snr 5e5e | ber 0000ffff | unc 00000000 | status 03 | signal 3232 | snr 6868 | ber 0000ffff | unc 000000cf | status 03 | signal 3232 | snr 6868 | ber 0000ffff | unc 00000128 | status 03 | signal 3232 | snr 6969 | ber 0000ffff | unc 000000c3 | status 03 | signal 3232 | snr 6d6d | ber 0000ffff | unc 000000cd | status 03 | signal 3232 | snr 6b6b | ber 0000ffff | unc 0000018b | status 03 | signal 3232 | snr 6b6b | ber 0000ffff | unc 00000162 | This also seems good afaik. then I try a dvbtune -f 505833333 -i and get FD 4: fd_dvr DEMUX DEVICE: : No such file or directory Does anybody have an idea of what is wrong, I've been at this for a couple of days now.
