Strange after a "... firmware lockup!" message a "fimware recovered!" or "... firmware chrash!!!!" message should follow. Will have a look at the patch again. > If i did not mentioned > it yet, the "hangup during watching" happens only on one frequency (658MHz, > Sat1, Pro7,...) too me. This is another problem my patch can't help here. If you don't get "dvb_frontend_recover" messages before the hangups I don't know what could be the cause for this. May be we should find more about the lockups while channel switching first? > Should i enable debug also on dvb-ttpci ? :-) Don't think this would help on the channel switching problem. If we only want to test this more first, you can also remove "dvb_frontend_debug=1", then it might be easier to follow the albs_tdlb7 messages. Please test again channel switching and if you get " ...recovered!" or "... chrashed!!!!" messages after a "...lockup" message. May be you could also try different values for MAXCHECKS (e.g. 50 or 150). Juergen -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe linux-dvb" as subject.
