I too have a concurrent read issues. Call me stupid, maybe I've missed something in the documentation, can anyone shine any light on whether this is supported?
For proper concurrent reads from the stream devices you would have to implement one ringbuffer per open(). I don't know whether this should be supported because this complicates things...
