First of all - Thanks to everybody for earlier help. > The easier way is to go with 2.6 and dvb-kernel > ./makelinks <kernel-src-path> would be fine...
I did it in that way, I made ./makelinks, I compiled the kernel 2.6 with V4l and in desperation I mark everything there as a modules (I selected the av7110 driver too) After that I installed new kernel and when I tryed to load dvb-bt8xx, I had that it can be found. I made locate dvb-bt8xx (after updatedb ofcorse) and I didn't find that file in my system. Thats why I started writing to this list. Today I download kernel 2.4.23, so I give up with 2.6 and started from beginning. I compiled the kernel with I2C support and BT848 V4l, download the video4linux from bytesex.org, download dvb-kernel from cvs... I did everything as is written in README.btt8xx. And now when I'm trying: modeporbe dvb-bt8xx, I got: /lib/modules/2.4.23/misc/dvb-bt8xx.o: unresolved symbol bttv_get_i2c_adap /lib/modules/2.4.23/misc/dvb-bt8xx.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.23/misc/dvb-bt8xx.o failed /lib/modules/2.4.23/misc/dvb-bt8xx.o: insmod dvb-bt8xx failed What am I doing wrong now ? PS. It doesn't care for me if it would be work on 2.6 or 2.4, I only want it to work ;). Please help me, because I'm going crazy with that ;) Regards Michal -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe linux-dvb" as subject.
