For several weeks I've been updating my dvb-kernel CVS tree and trying to build it, but each time the build fails. My original checkout of it near the start of January built fine but I'd like to get some of the updates to see if it fixes some things.

You have an old "videodev2.h" lying around somewhere, probably in /usr/src/linux/include/
Delete it or replace it with the copy from the "build-2.4" directory.
