Hi, just a quick update on my ventures in data reception services in the US as discussed a few days ago on the list. The sat-provider confirmed that a "Vbox Satellite Express PCI+ 2030" (see vboxcomm.com for infos) card will work succesfully on Linux with their data service. The card is a bit more expensive that the SS2's or Nexus cards but seems to be similar technically.
I'm planning to run a data test using the cheaper SS2 (its 1/3 of the price) at some point. Has anyone used the vbox card? Is it compatible with the linux kernel driver or does one need to use their proprietary drivers? cu Andreas -- Info: To unsubscribe send a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe linux-dvb" as subject.
