Hi, the good news: dvb with vdr works and is great. Thanks to all developer.
But enabling hyperthreading at my P4 box results in oops like DEBI irq oops @ 57654, psr:0x00040128, ssr:0x00800030 DEBI irq oops @ 58474, psr:0x00040028, ssr:0x00800030 DEBI irq oops @ 72161, psr:0x00040728, ssr:0x00804820 It's just annoying for me and hopefully interesting for you. My linux box runs SuSE 9.0 with vanilla 2.4.25 and up-to-date cvs dvb-modules. dmesg tells about the dvb-c card: linux video capture interface: v1.00 saa7146: register extension 'dvb'. saa7146_core: found saa7146 @ mem e105f000 (revision 1, irq 22) (0x110a,0x0000).
