I get similiar problems with my skystar2.6B: after a while of heavy use, it stops providing any data. The frontend is fine at that moment: I can tune without any problem. But: I have to reload the driver to get it working again. I upgraded to today's CVS now to be able to do some tests. I don't think it is a problem of the ss2 driver: the ss2 driver (and others) seem to trigger a bug in an upper layer of the driver. I hope to find a reproducable situation when this bug appears sooner or later, so that the specialists might find a cure... Wolfgang
