To add to the PC On A Stick discussion, most on the list seem to want a flown blown Linux system on an embedded platform. That's all well and good, but has anyone here entertained thoughts of a palmtop version for the burgeoning PDA hardware rapidly appearing? Linux has already booted and run with the romfs on a Palm Pilot, and the DEC Itsy is an StrongARM 1100 based palmtop Linux box (too bad it's for 'researchers' only). I see one use for Linux running on something like the stick as the first step to a handheld. I don't really need RAID, SCSI, routing, etc. for this purpose. What would be needed is a lean GUI or severely slimmed X implementation and some trick applications. James Ewing
