My father-in-law, an avowed MS Windows bigot, used to
say that "eunuchs" (Unix) was for "dick-less" (diskless)
        workstations.

Linux hasn't quite won him over, yet. But he doesn't
say this any more. I prefers programming under Linux
at work, now --- but he still prefers to run Win '9x
on his home machine (since his favorite games are
native to that platform and he doesn't like to program
after hours as much as he used to).

My wife and I are >< that close to convincing him to
switch over for good. The re-installs necessitated by
Win '9x bugs are getting to through to him more than our
        enthusiasm.
