They seem to be getting along well enough. It's just that some points are being corrected and clarified. On the one hand this thread is off-topic. It's not technically about Linux embedded systems. However, it is about major companies in that field. So I think it's handy to hear a bit more about them than I'd have bothered to look up. (I haven't even read Linuxcare's S-1 --- and I work for them!). Ob: EmbLinux: What would be the best X Truetype font server or mechanism for a diskless embedded/kiosk device? What have people used to make an "embedded" browser look halfway decent? If I have to use Netscape for this (shudder), are there any tips to trimming it down? (I supposed I'd start by setting its max disk cache to zero, obviously I'll have to have some sort of ramdisk to hold the preferences, bookmarks, etc. Argh! -- Jim Dennis [EMAIL PROTECTED] Linuxcare: Linux Corporate Support Team: http://www.linuxcare.com -- To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the command "unsubscribe linux-embedded" in the message body.
