  It doesn't sound like a squabble to me.  They seem to be getting 
  along well enough.  It's just that some points are being corrected
  and clarified.

  On the one hand this thread is off-topic.  It's not technically
  about Linux embedded systems.  However, it is about major
  companies in that field.  So I think it's handy to hear a bit 
  more about them than I'd have bothered to look up.  (I haven't 
  even read Linuxcare's S-1 --- and I work for them!).

  Ob: EmbLinux:

  What would be the best X Truetype font server or mechanism 
  for a diskless embedded/kiosk device?  What have people used to 
  make an "embedded" browser look halfway decent?  If I have to use
  Netscape for this (shudder), are there any tips to trimming it
  down?   (I supposed I'd start by setting its max disk cache to
  zero, obviously I'll have to have some sort of ramdisk to
  hold the preferences, bookmarks, etc.  Argh!
