Once again, I have hit a wall.
In trying to set up a Linux box (SuSE6.3) to serve diskless clients,
I have got as far as
Server (pax0) reports thro' /var/log/messages
pax0 mountd[142]: NFS mount of /tftpboot/paxx attempted from 192.168.0.2
pax0 mountd[142]: unauthorised assess by NFS client 192.168.0.2
pax0 mountd[142]: Blocked attrempt of 192.168.0.2 to mount
/tftpboot/paxx
Client reports
Looking up port of RPC 100003/2 on 192.168.0.99
Looking up port of RPC 100005/1 on 192.168.0.99
Root-NFS Server returned error -13 while mounting /tftpboot/paxx
NFS unable to mount roor fs via NFS
While this indicates to me that the export file for the server does not
include a line for paxx, it does
/tftpboot/paxx paxx(rw,no-root_squash)
Can anyone conveniently send me examples of relevant config files.
My setup is
Server is 192.168.0.99, called pax0
Std client 192.168.0.2, called paxx
I will also have clients pax 1 thro 6, 192.168.0.x.
