Anyone running an STPC? We are going to be using one for a POS
terminal that will require ethernet ability and we have finally
(yahoo!) have a customer that wants to give a linux a try.
We have 2 boards (our designs) that use the STPC and this would be
the 3rd. Both the previous designs come up using the Tiny BIOS
package we bought and then boots DOS from a SanDisk in IDE mode.
This dude will need to boot out of EPROM or flash and will only have
either 4 or 8 megs of ram depending on what chips we can pack on the
board (size is an issue). HD and FD services will be available for
developement but not in the final target.
I will be out all day tommorow (Tuesday) but I look forward to
reading the multitude of responses when I am back in the office on
Wed.
