Is anyone willing to write a script for me to test serial ports (ttyS0 -
3), which will positively configure(9600,e,7,2 preferred), and enable
them, send an identifying message, and echo received data to the
console.
I have an tcl/tk application running on an SBC which is supposed to use
ttyS0, and 1 for i/o, but seems unable to access them. Previously I had
concluded that tcl/tk 8.0 had a problem in this regard, but believe that
with v8.2 I had it working. Im now unable to get anything in or out of
the ports.
They DO work in dos.
Thanks
