Yep.  The Geode can actually deal with quite a bit of heat.  Doing a
full tilt spin it never really get's hot to touch without a heatsink.
The problem is it raises the ambient temperature and if you're building
a consumer box you have to assume people will have it in places like
Arizona and their RVs and those extra few degrees of heat give drives,
RF devices and other components a hard time.

Even without halt the geode is a fairly low temperature processor.
