About compatibility beetween Xfree and media gx embedded chipset

Hi,

I use a set-top-box with Cx5530 video chipset and i have a problem with XFree 3.3.6.

I don't arrive to have more than 8 bit color depth.

This chipset is very used in the embedded device.

So, have you encountered a same problem ?

Have you a solution to improve the color depth with the cyrix media gx (equiv Cx5530) chipset ?
