'udevadm info' output during installation (see below) didn't include any 'eno1np0' references. Same deal with 'DEBIAN/30-interfaces' script debug output. On the newly-built ubuntu system, '/sys/class/net/eno1' doesn't exist. '/sys/class/net/eno1np0' does exist, with no 'eno1' references in udevadmin output.
