background: i'm using fai without problems... and then ... the update. i hav no idea what happend. when i'm executing "fai-setup" it partially works. at the beginning the packages were found, but then comes the failure message with "failure resolving". the fai-server is also the debian mirror and other clients can access the repository with "apt-get update" the fai-server self can resolv his own hostname. why does this failure happens? has anyone ideas? greetz daniel -------------------------------------------------------------------- dpkg: debconf-i18n: dependency problems, but configuring anyway as you request: debconf-i18n depends on libtext-iconv-perl; however: Package libtext-iconv-perl is not installed. dpkg: util-linux: dependency problems, but configuring anyway as you request: util-linux depends on zlib1g (>= 1:1.2.1); however: Package zlib1g is not installed. init: timeout opening/writing control channel /dev/initctl Starting internet superserver: inetd Warning: Fake start-stop-daemon called, doing nothing .
