OK, I found the fai.log. Here's what I found in it about why snort didn't install:
-----------Snip----------- Unpacking snort (from .../snort_2.3.3-11_i386.deb) ... mkdir: cannot create directory `/var/log/fai/current': No such file or directory dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/snort_2.3.3-11_i386.deb (--unpack): subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 1 ---------End Snip---------- I'm not sure what to do to fix this? During the install there is a "/var/log/fai/current" directory? Right? Do you have any ideas?
