No, normally this is not possible, since fai-make-nfsroot does a chroot into the new nfsroot and so the kernel must execute commands inside the nfsroot which are 64bit. Yes, it's possible, but only if your host is running a 64bit kernel. Then the userland tools on your host can remain 32bit tools, but the kernel will able to execute 64bit executables inside the nfsroot. -- regards Thomas
