Hello Thomas & all! before the changes described below "aptitude update" results on my FAI server to "Unable to connect to fai-project.org:http:" I didn't check in detail in which parts of the FAI repository similiar changes must be made. But I assume, there are some, or'?

I remembered, that Thomas announced the the project page now is working with HTTPS, so I changed /etc/apt/sources.list from OLD: deb http://fai-project.org/download jessie koeln NEW deb *https*://fai-project.org/download jessie koeln Then I got: aptitude update E: The method driver /usr/lib/apt/*methods/https could not be found.* Solution: *aptitude install apt-transport-https* The following NEW packages will be installed: apt-transport-https 0 packages upgraded, 1 newly installed, 0 to remove and 8 not upgraded Then "aptitude update" results to: Ign https://fai-project.org jessie InRelease Ign https://fai-project.org jessie Release.gpg Ign https://fai-project.org jessie Release Ign https://fai-project.org jessie/koeln i386 Packages/DiffIndex Best Regards Jens
