Thanks to in-person tips from Al as well as a certain Usenix tutorial, I
took enough notes on this (and other stacking-related optimizations, Ion)
that I believe I have a good understanding of how to do this in our stacking
templates. All Ion and I need are a few days of code-hackery, and a stable
VFS.

We may have to change the VFS if we find that's the only way to support a
chain (or tree! think fan-out) of callbacks, but we won't know until we try.

Erez.
