Actually, I don't have any actual plan to build something for the present. I'm just studying what I can do, and whether if it's possible to link with another system, which may be a proprietary one if my company wants :) In my understanding, HB API for V1 libraries(libhbclient and libclplumb) are LGPL and I was just curious to know whether if the CRM library is different or not. I think I can use CLIs and XML/DTD as an API.
