check out the SysInfo RA.
that should populate a whole bunch of node attributes that you can then create constraints on

Hi,

after I got the pingd up and running, and found it useful to move resources
throught the cluster, based on ping connectivity.
For my cluster at home, I'd like to setup resouce locations based on the nodes operating system. E.g. I know that a Xen resource will not work on an OpenBSD host, therefore, when I create a Xen resource, I'd create a location constraint for it, with -INFINITY in case the Operating system of the node
is OpenBSD.
I'd go read the source of pingd, and would create sth. similar, that runs uname -s and updates it as a transient attribute in the cib to the node it
is running on.
Or maybe I don't need to do this, because it is already possible somehow?

kind regards
Sebastian
