Hi all,

with sincere apologies for having taken so long, it is my pleasure to
announce the release of heartbeat 2.1.4.

I would like to thank everybody for their contributions and patches!

Before I proceed, allow me to address a few questions:

- How does heartbeat 2.1.4 relate to Pacemaker?

The 2.1.4 release is for those users who, for some reason, cannot yet
upgrade to the Pacemaker version. It's intended to be the last final
  release in the 2.1.4 branch.

Please use Pacemaker, if you can.

2.1.4 will be released as a maintenance update on SLES10 SP2. We opt
to share this effort with the community, in the hope that it may be
  useful to some.

- Will there be a 2.1.5 release?

No. After this, the focus will be on 3.0.0, which will be a clean
release (w/o embedded CRM), upon which pacemaker and other cluster
managers can be build. Please join us on the linux-ha-dev list for
  that discussion.

Unless critical _regressions_ surface, there will _not_ be another
  release of 2.1.x.

With that: http://www.linux-ha.org/DownloadSoftware contains references
