I never agreed on the way external/ipmi works and so rewrote it. So instead of 
performing a reset, it poweres off, waits a bit, checks the power status and 
poweres on again.

The wait times can be configured, since it depends on hardware. Systems with 
oboard IPMI (IMHO broken by design) usually need a lot of time to bring back 
IPMI when the system was powered off.


As I don't have access to this bugzilla yet, I have attached the modified ipmi 
script here. Missing is still an option to re-implement the default reset 
option. But I don't have test hardware, unfortunately.
