The SAP folks maintain their RA outside our project too. I'd recommend to not diverge, since it'll make further merging effort annoying. Can we get them to update their copy and sent us incremental patches? Or maybe get them to maintain it in our tree "officially". (Or, if they are so inclined, drop it from ours and have it as a separate package with provider="sap") Hm.
