Hi,
in the HOWTO of Linux-HA2 is mentioned htat the ocf RA of drbd does not
support version 8 of drbd.
Is that still true?
as far as i know, yes :)
Is it just not supported / tested?
mainly it needs to be tested (by someone who really knows drbd8)
and the ocf ra has to be adapted.
What might be that problems?
i currently use it in a master-master (primary-primary) environment.
the problems i see are most of the time split-brain scenarios.
as long as both nodes have the same UpToDate data and can connect
without any problem, it works.
when i experiment with linux-ha, i see undetected split-brian scenarios
arrise.
moreover - afairc - it has been reported that the ra ocf has a problem
when the resync is taking "too" long. i for my part use only a 5gb test
volume and a gbit connection, that seems fast enough, but i cannot
comment on 100+gb volumes (yet).
if you have got any suggestions, please feel free to contribute :)
cheers,
raoul
