i took a quick look at the current "tip" revision:

may i suggest adding a 'required="1"' to the xml meta data as for
example:
- <parameter name="configfile" unique="1">
+ <parameter name="configfile" unique="1" required="1">
please note: i do not know if a) the required attribute is honored by
crm_verify
the only consumer of this data is the GUI. its not used by the CRM at
all.
and if b) if the required attribute defaults to 1 if it is
ommitted.
