we have a 2-node v1 style configuration, and this has been working for a long time, just recently upgraded to suse 11 (gm) with heartbeat 2.1.3-19.1
now, if we issue /etc/init.d/heartbeat stop on the primary node, it will create the virtual IP on the other node, but does NOT release the virtual ip on the now "dead" node. so the virtual IP is active on both. if I issue "ifconfig eth0:0 down" (virtual interface I use) it shuts it down on BOTH nodes. what's going on?
