I suppose that it shuts down for a good reason.

Follows suite as in it gets shutdown by the ipmi device? If so,
then one can't do much about it.

There's no good reason for that change to make any difference.
Otherwise, in a two-node cluster, if only one node is running
it should run the resources. The answer is hopefully in the logs.
